Privacy Policy

This site collects very little, and this page explains all of it. No accounts. No analytics. No data sold to anyone, ever. Here's exactly what happens with your information.

The short version

• The only personal information this site handles is what you type into two forms: the coaching application and the blog email signup.
• Guide purchases happen entirely on Gumroad. This site never sees your payment details.
• No analytics tools are installed. The site sets no advertising cookies.
• Your information is never sold or shared for marketing.

Who runs this site

Training with MH is a personal training business. It's a static website hosted on Netlify. There are no user accounts and no login — nothing about you is stored on a server run by this site.

The coaching application

When you apply for coaching, the form asks for your name, email, goals, schedule, training experience, and readiness. That's it, and it's used for exactly one thing: reviewing your application and responding to you.

Two things worth knowing about how the form works:

• Your progress stays in your browser. As you fill out the application, your answers are saved to your own browser's localStorage so you don't lose them if you step away. Nothing leaves your device until you hit submit.
• Submissions go through Formspree. When you submit, your answers are delivered via Formspree, a third-party form processing service. Formspree handles the submission according to its own privacy policy.

Application information is not used for marketing and is not added to any mailing list.

The blog email signup

The email capture form on the blog collects one thing: your email address. It's handled by Netlify Forms and used to send you new content and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe anytime — just reply to any email and say so, or ask through the application form.

Guide purchases

Training guides are sold through Gumroad, an external checkout. When you buy a guide, you're on Gumroad's site: Gumroad processes your payment and delivers the PDF, all under Gumroad's own privacy policy. This site never sees or stores your payment details.

Affiliate links

The recommended products page contains affiliate links. If you buy something through one of them, this site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The retailer you land on operates under its own privacy policy.

Third-party services

The full list of outside services this site relies on:

• Netlify — hosts the site and processes the blog email form. Like any web host, Netlify may keep standard server logs.
• Formspree — processes coaching application submissions.
• Gumroad — handles guide checkout, payment, and delivery.
• Google Fonts — delivers the site's fonts. Your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which involves your IP address, as described in Google's privacy policy.
• Instagram — some blog posts include an embedded Instagram post, which loads Instagram's script on that page. Instagram (Meta) may set its own cookies when the embed loads.

What this site doesn't do

• No analytics tools are currently installed — no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels.
• The site itself sets no advertising cookies.
• Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

Your choices

• Blog emails: unsubscribe anytime by replying to an email or asking.
• Application data: want it deleted? Ask, and it will be.
• localStorage: the saved application progress lives in your own browser. Clear your browser data and it's gone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Meaningful changes won't be buried — the practices described above are the practices in use.
