Not a full-time fitness guy

I'm a registered nurse. I work full shifts, I have a daughter at home, and I've been training seriously for years. Not because fitness is my career — but because I decided early on that I wasn't willing to let a busy life be the reason I stopped taking care of my body.

The fitness industry is full of people who train 6 days a week for 2 hours because it's their job. That's not my life, and it's probably not yours. What I've had to figure out is how to get strong, build real endurance, and stay consistent when time is actually limited. That's the skill I'm coaching from.

Being a nurse changed how I think about health. It's not about aesthetics or performance for its own sake. It's about being capable, resilient, and functional — in the gym and outside of it. That perspective is baked into everything I do here.

Most training programs are designed in a vacuum. They assume unlimited time, a perfect schedule, and no competing priorities. When real life shows up, those programs fall apart.

Hybrid training — combining strength and endurance in the same program — is how I train, and it's what I coach. Not because it's trendy, but because it produces well-rounded, capable athletes. You get stronger. You build a useful aerobic base. You don't have to choose between the two.

Strong enough to lift heavy. Fit enough to run. Capable enough for whatever life throws at you.

The programs I build are structured around your schedule, your equipment, and your actual goals — not an idealized version of your life. If you have 3 days a week, we build around 3 days. If things shift, we adjust. That's the job.

The principles behind the programming

01
Consistency beats intensity

A sustainable 70% effort, week after week, will always outperform a perfect plan that falls apart after a month. I build programs you can actually stick to.

02
Structure over motivation

Motivation is unreliable. A well-built program removes the daily decision of what to do, so you can just show up. The structure does the heavy lifting.

03
Strength and endurance together

You don't have to pick one. Hybrid training produces athletes who are capable across the board. The programming is designed to build both without sacrificing either.

04
Context is everything

A nurse on rotating shifts needs a different plan than a teacher with weekends off. A generic program ignores this. Every program I write starts with your life, not a template.
